Nick Johnson is a goose calling instructor that hails from Minnesota, working on a one-on-one basis, with over 100+ individual goose hunters annually, guiding them in their efforts to achieve goose calling success and obtaining a diverse array of goose hunting know-how. Nick strongly believes that calling proficiency is a goose hunter’s best asset for exceptional hunting. Nick has dedicated his life to understanding fowl language, and his passion for sharing knowledge shines through while elucidating the intricacies of calling into an easy to understand format. Every one of these tutoring sessions provided Nick with unique insights in creating his revolutionary lesson plan. Nick has fully pursued the waterfowl lifestyle through calling since he began competing in duck and goose call competitions at age 13. Now 20 years later, Nick has the privilege of guiding duck and goose hunts across the country. He has also been lucky enough to win dozens of titles in the competition scene. Nick has also hosted youth calling seminars for a decade, volunteering his time to continue the heritage of the sport he loves. A message from Nick: Getting the chance to work with so many fellow goose hunters has been the privilege of a lifetime. Each student I teach is actually educating me on how to better explain goose call operation. It is incredibly fulfilling sharing this knowledge with the expectation that people will use it to create lifelong memories with their family and friends.
